In an emergency
When somebody is becoming very unwell telephone their GP and/or dial 999.
Say clearly:

1.
who you are concerned about and what is happening now
2.
what has happened in this situation in the past
3.
if you think there may now be a risk to the person's mental or physical health
4.
why you want someone to come out now

If you are the nearest relative, say so. The nearest relative has the legal right, under section 13 of the Mental Health Act 1983, to ask for an Approved Social Worker to come out to assess the person at any time.
